Surround yourself by nature when you stay at the incredible Chalet Sisar, located on the Beauregard plateau.
It's a 9km from the mountain resort of La Clusaz, and getting there is all part of the adventure. Access to the chalet is via an unmade forest track, which is accessible by car, but a 4x4 is strongly recommended. But when you get here, you won't want to leave - breathe in that clean mountain air as you admire the uninterrupted views of the Aravis mountains from the hot tub. It's a real paradise for guests who want to get away from it all.
The Beauregard plateau is very popular with guests who enjoy hiking and biking. And at the end of an exhilarating day exploring the French Alps, Chalet Sisar is the perfect place to relax on the terrace.
For safety reasons, and given the isolated location of the chalet and its highly flammable tavaillon cladding, using the fireplace is not permitted during your stay.
About the property ...
Up to 12 guests (8 adults max) will find plenty of room to rest and relax at the two-storey Chalet Sisar, which has five bedrooms and four shower rooms.
The main entrance will take you straight into the large, open-plan living area, with its welcoming central fireplace. Relax on the sofas or step out on to the south-facing terrace to enjoy the views and the last of the evening sun. There's a well-equipped open kitchen with a breakfast bar and a large dining table where you can all eat together. After dinner, why not challenge your friends to a game of table football?
There's also an office area on this floor, as well as a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, and a separate WC.
The five bedrooms are all on the first floor. Bedroom 1 has a double bed with a television and an en suite shower room. Bedroom 2 also has a double room as well as a single bed, a TV and an en suite shower room. Bedroom 3 is a double with an en suite shower room.
The fourth bedroom has two single beds, and the fifth room is another triple room with a television - it can be arranged with three single beds, or a double and a single. There is another shower room on this floor with a separate WC.

La Clusaz is an authentic mountain village which blends tradition with up-to-date facilities. Its traditional chalets and lively streets offer a vibrant setting with Savoyard charm. Nestled in the heart of the Aravis massif, it is only 30 min from Annecy and close to Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod. Its warm atmosphere and easy accessibility make it a popular destination year-round.
In winter, the resort provides easy access to the Aravis ski area, offering 210km of pistes that combine long descents and technical sectors across La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod, and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt. The region also offers a variety of winter activities, including cross-country skiing, dog sledding, sledging, snow biking, ice diving and ice skating.
During the rest of the year, numerous hiking and biking trails lead to superb views over the Aravis, such as the Plateau des Glières. The village boasts a modern watersports centre providing activities for all ages and a wellbeing area. The nearby Lake Annecy is another great place for swimming, paddleboarding, and sailing. Other summer activities include via ferrata, climbing and paragliding, leaving you with a wealth of memories to take home.

The chalet is accessible via an unpaved forest track (access will be difficult for a regular car, especially those with low ground clearance), so we advise you to use a 4x4 to avoid any inconvenience.

The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee to be set up before arrival. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your card details are securely held for up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

Chalet Sisar is a two-storey chalet for 12, with five bedrooms and four shower rooms.
Situated on the Beauregard plateau, you can hike and bike right from your door - it's the perfect choice if you love nature and mountain sports. But although the fabulous location will appeal to many, it might not be for you if you want easy access to local facilities.
Accommodation is flexible, with a choice of double and triple bedrooms and four shower rooms, as well as separate WCs, making it perfect for a group of friends or a couple of families staying together.
There's a lovely, well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar where you can grab a quick snack, and a large dining table where you can all enjoy a meal together. After dinner, the three sofas are the perfect place to snuggle down in the evenings.
This really is a chalet where you can relax and get away from your daily routine. For that reason, there is no TV in the living room (although there are televisions in three of the bedrooms)
When you get together in the evenings, it's a time to chat, read, eat together and play games - there's table football in the living area. You can also enjoy evenings on the terrace - it's a wonderful place for stargazing!

Built in the 18th century by Alpine Farmers from La Clusaz, this chalet has moved into a new stage of its history with a complete renovation from 2020 to 2022.
Two thirds of the timber walls have been carefully preserved, and the charm and authenticity of the place have been awakened using contemporary furniture and lighting, combined with traditional craftsmanship. Where complete renovation has been necessary, we've used old wood, and we've kept the original staircase, that would have been used to get to the sleeping areas.
The farmers' living area has become the ski room.
The carpenter and joiner restored the framework, walls and interior fittings, as well as the kitchen and dining room table and made a bed from a piece of wood from the stable. The five bedrooms, under the eaves as in any Alpine chalet, have modern furnishings.
This chalet, which can accommodate 12 people (8 adults and 4 children) in 5-star comfort, was designed to enable guests to relax in the middle of nature on the Beauregard plateau. There are wonderful views of the Aravis mountains, the Mont Blanc chain and the Dômes de Miage.
The chalet is a real Savoyard retreat, with a breathtaking view of the peaks - the ideal setting for an unforgettable mountain holiday.
After a day in the mountains, you can enjoy the sunset over the Aravis mountain range, a game of table football or a board game.
